Adhesive Vinyl
Inky offers three types of Adhesive Vinyl whose primary difference is the adhesive backing. Note the uses for each type below before you choose on the drop-down menu.
WALL GRAPHICS
This product is ideal for use on almost all surfaces, including office or bedroom walls, laptops, and glass windows. A heavy 8mil stock, its primary benefit is that it can be re-positioned many times over. It is easy to apply. It is easy to remove without damaging walls or most anything else you adhere it to. Think of it as a Post-It Note with a bit more ‘stick’ to it.
FLOOR GRAPHICS
This is a heavier 4mil flexible vinyl. It is robust and holds up well under foot traffic. It is made to be applied to solid floor surfaces such as concrete, stone, vinyl tiles and the like. A lamination is put on this product for additional protection. It is not recommended for carpets. Although the adhesive is significantly more aggressive than on wall graphics, it can be removed cleanly.
HIGH TACK ADHESIVE VINYL
High tack adhesive vinyl is also a 4mil flexible material. If you are looking for wall signage, or perhaps large labels for drums or containers that you never plan to remove, this is a good choice. It does not have a lamination like floor graphics, but it will take abuse. Removal is possible but difficult.
